THE BIG CAVE
This cave is 7 km away from Pirot, near the village Drzina. It is 1440 meters long and 30 meters high. There are four halls. It abounds in cave ornaments from snow-white rings. It is one of the most beautiful caves in eastern Serbia.
CAVE VLADIKINE PLOČE
This cave is in the gorge which has the same name, between the villages Pakleštica and Rsovci. Several gorges can be seen here above the riverbed, at the height of 86 meters. The caves can be reached only on foot. Those are: Vladikina ploèa (660 meters long), Mouse cave (83m long), Water cave (63m long), cave at Lipa's (60m long), cave Toplica (35m long), cave Vetrena (22m long), Cold cave (17m long), Trifun's cave (15m long), cave Potpec (14m long). This group of caves is interesting because there are remnants which point out that prehistoric men lived there. However, the caves are jet examined.
